On a walk around the neighborhood, we spied a sure sign of spring, the tapping of the maples. It made me hungry for some waffles, with pure maple syrup. The amazing thing is around here you can get a quart of maple syrup for $10 all summer long, at the farmers markets.
I love maple syrup. But I have to say, your Spring looks a little different than ours!
ReplyDeleteDear friend!
ReplyDeleteI always see in magazines about this tree typical of his land, but I can not imagine the pleasure I can have this nectar.
Does it taste like honey?
I'm loving your photos, you're an excellent photographer. That machine uses?

JUST JANE!
ReplyDeleteTomorrow morning I am having some (a lot of!) maple syrup on my wonderful wheat-germ cakes at a place on the water, across road from the Gulf of Mexico. People will be swimming, sunning, and laughing in the 80-degree, sea-breezed park...
Photo is marvelous view of what I have not seen for 46 years! Miss it in a way....Brrrrr!
