An evening stroll through the cemetery

I came upon an Angel. She has been there since long before I was born. I found her while I walked in the cemetery close to my house. Our first meeting was shortly after I arrived here in Wisconsin. I was sad, the day we met, and I found comfort in her prayer. I visit her often, and delight in her ever changing light.

  1. Oh I love this post your pictures are amazing the one of her foot is gorgeous! I find comfort in angels and their ability to feel as though they surround us and know we are not alone, she seems to guide and keep an eye over you!

  2. My angel is named Flex. This spirit does more things for me in daily living, I could not begin.
I believe that God assigned at least one to each of us. I truly believe this.

I also like the "foot", being a bare-footed kinda guy--grin! So expressive. Hey, where did the leaves go? The trees are dying? Why is everything so white? Is THIS the end of the world? PEACE!

  3. The leaves are coming, Steve. Slowly, but they are coming. Usually they pop out around May 15th. So 6 more weeks to real green!

  4. I love the angels in old cemeteries - they seem both peaceful and a little melancholy.
